So about today’s choice of beverage is all about Iced Matcha Green Tea!🍵🍵🍵🍵
If you’ve seen the previous videos I posted all about Matcha as instructed by Don @ Mei Leaf on YouTube (my fave tea instructor).
❤️❤️❤️Don & Celine!! My tea muses for sure.
Okay so let me be clear I’M NOT A MATCHA PURIST!🍵🍵🍵🍵🍵🍵….I’m West Indian with an appreciation for the culture however,….true to Caribbean form…”I gon mix it up, Selector REWIND!!!”
So, with that said I’m a “milk frother” user and a “cocktail shaker” user…I prefer perfect smoothness in my teas. I also prefer Coconut Milk in my tea beverages but if that’s not at all available I will drink it plain.
Love this video and please look for my next upcoming post on my version of Iced Matcha Tea Latte (shaken not stirred)🍵!
You know I’m all about Caribbean fusion so….Here’s my version of Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte…
*Rishi Sweet Matcha Green Tea (4 mini tsp and 1 tsp reserved for rimming your glass)
*Ghiradelli White Chocolate Sauce (rimming the glass)
I like my beverage shaken and not stirred…it makes for better mixing of the powdered drinks. So, shake it up for optimum mixing.
Add your ice cubes to your shaker. This particular shaker by Teavana has a slotted top for easy pouring out your drinks. It separates the chucks of ice which gives you more of a better blend of ice and your chosen beverage.
Keep in mind you’re making iced latte not frappachinos. They are different drinks due to their preparation. Iced means the ice is present in the beverage in its natural form. Frappachiino is blended by a blender making your beverage into an iced smoothie drink.
